The company Kässbohrer founded in Ulm/Germany by Karl Kässbohrer in 1893. Kässbohrer Tanker and Silo division acquired by the biggest Turkish trailer producer Tırsan Trailer in 2002. Production of Kässbohrer Tanker and Silo Semi-Trailers moved to Adapazarı/Turkey and Goch/Germany plants of Tırsan Trailer. Expansion of production capacity for Kässbohrer Tanker and Silo Semi-Trailers at the Adapazarı/Turkey plant was made in 2006.
